Where Community, Care, and Connection Come Together

At The Collaborative Doula Collective, we know that doulas flourish when supported by community—and we’re actively building that, together.

Whether your calling takes you through fertility, home birth, NICU stays, postpartum, end-of-life, or other life-journeys, this space welcomes EVERY modality. We champion the idea that doulas are incredible—and that collaboration over competition is key. That’s why we don’t enforce a non‑compete clause: if you already work with another agency or collective, we welcome you with open arms. You can still run your own doula business and belong here.

Being in The Collaborative Doula Collective is for doulas who believe in shared learning, community care, and building a sustainable practice rooted in support. Together, we grow our skills, confidence, and capacity to support families — while being supported ourselves.

“Its enjoyable when you have fun with the people you work with”

What we stand for

Community as foundation.
We’re stronger when we’re connected—supporting each other, celebrating wins, and holding each other through the hard moments. This is our backbone, and we actively nurture it every day.

Collaboration over competition.
We don’t believe in non‑compete clauses. If you’re already part of another agency or running your own doula business—you’re still welcome here. We create bridges, not walls.

Holding space for all.
We honour the full life spectrum—supporting every stage, from fertility to birth, loss, abortion, postpartum, end of life, death & dying. Our care is inclusive of all identities, backgrounds, and experiences. We proudly serve every body, without discrimination.

Putting fit first.
Referrals aren’t just about who’s available. They’re about shared values, identities, and connection. That’s how we create care that truly resonates and sustains both our clients and our doulas.

Amy Silva, a doula and founder of The Collaborative Doula Collective, holds a baby and smiles.

I remember when I first became a doula…

What I saw were beautiful, transformative journeys—but also loneliness, isolation, and burnout. I wanted—no, needed—a haven. So I poured my heart into creating a space where we support the supporters, where you aren’t alone in doing one of the most deeply meaningful roles you’ll ever hold .

This collective is born of that earnest desire: to uplift families AND to uplift you. To celebrate the beauty in every transition, from hopeful beginnings to sacred endings, with gentleness, respect, and a deep sense of community.
