For Doula Clients
What is a Doula?
A doula is a compassionate support person who walks alongside individuals and families through life’s most tender transitions. From fertility and pregnancy to birth, postpartum, end-of-life, death care, and grief, doulas provide steady, non-judgmental care that centers your unique needs and choices.
Doulas don’t provide medical care—they nurture the emotional, physical, and educational well-being of those they support. This might mean comfort during labour, guidance with feeding, preparing meals, creating rituals to honour loss, sitting vigil at the end of life, or simply reminding you that you are not alone.
At The Collaborative Doula Collective, our doulas come from diverse backgrounds and communities, united by collaboration over competition. We honour all family structures, cultures, and identities, and we walk beside you with care that helps you feel seen, supported, and empowered through every chapter of life.

Kind words from a client
Seanna was absolutely amazing, honestly I was hesitant to have a doula and mainly agreed because my husband wanted it. But the knowledge Seanna gave me, not to mention the overwhelming support she gave during and after my labour was more I could have ever wished for. She was always there to answer my 500 questions and advocated for me when I couldn't. It was a pleasure having Seanna there for the birth of my first child and I'll have her there for the rest.”
