Amy stepped in as a backup doula on the day of my delivery. When she arrived at the hospital at 3am—after driving an hour to be there—we had never met before, but the moment she walked into the room, a calm, grounding presence settled over me. Her energy was exactly what I didn’t know I needed.

As labor progressed, Amy became an absolutely invaluable part of the process. She was engaged, intuitive, and incredibly supportive every step of the way—rubbing my back during contractions, guiding my breathing when I began to unravel, and being someone I could literally hold onto through the most intense moments of pain. It’s rare to find someone who can step into such an intimate and vulnerable space with total grace and warmth.

I am deeply grateful she was there with us, and I truly cannot imagine the experience without her. If you're considering having a doula as part of your birth journey, I wholeheartedly recommend Amy.

Delanie, thank you so much for helping us transition from a family of four to five! We appreciate all the food you made for us, tips for breastfeeding O and of course watching our spirited W to give us a little break from playtime. We definitely couldn’t have done it without you.

“Amy has a way of challenging you while also

Having a doula was one of my best decisions for my postpartum care. As a first-time mom, I was feeling overwhelmed, nervous, and scared - I had never been around many babies before, so having Amy there was so reassuring. She bonded with our new son and family so quickly that it made me feel more confident as a mother and never afraid to ask all the questions at any time. I always felt supported whether it was Amy showing us how to bathe our newborn, answering my silly texts about all things baby (I always would ask Amy before Googling, haha), or just being there to giggle with about all the new whirlwinds motherhood brings. When my husband went back to work, I was still recovering from my cesarean section and had been feeling lost, and having Amy there to support me gave me the chance to focus on myself again and validate my feelings. I always remember what Amy said to my husband and I, "Fit the baby into what you like to do in life" and we are all happier for it.

Amy was my birth doula. She was very supportive and provided all input during prenatal visit. open for discussion with pros and cons and help us to make decisions. I was hesitant about taking epidural and worried about losing strength on my legs. She explained in detail about alternative options and enabled me to make decisions. Amy provided moral support and comfort during delivery not only to me but also for my husband to deal with the situation. I will recommend Amy to anyone looking for birth doula

“We have a safe space to talk freely and build each other up.”

Seanna was absolutely amazing, honestly I was hesitant to have a doula and mainly agreed because my husband wanted it. But the knowledge Seanna gave me, not to mention the overwhelming support she gave during and after my labour was more I could have ever wished for. She was always there to answer my 500 questions and advocated for me when I couldn't. It was a pleasure having Seanna there for the birth of my first child and I'll have her there for the rest.”

I contacted Amy when I was nearing the end of my pregnancy as I knew I needed some overnight support. Going back to work very early was so challenging with my first since I had no help and was constantly sleep deprived. Sleep deprivation led me down a long path of PPD which I knew I could not repeat the second time around. I interviewed a few overnight doulas and Amy felt like the best fit for us. The first night I felt at peace, I could FINALLY sleep and not be worried or on edge the entire night about being woken up every hour. The process was super smooth… Amy would let herself in and let herself out in the morning, I got an entire nights sleep and every one was happy. If I were to have another baby there is no doubt in my mind I would have Amy help us out again. She saved me in so many ways and I still think about how grateful for her I am, 2 years later!!! If you are on the fence about an overnight doula, my only advice to you is to go ahead and DO IT, you will not regret your choice of hiring Amy.

I hired Amy as a doula for my first pregnancy because of her friendly attitude, as well as her experience with anxiety and loss. I was pregnant following a miscarriage and appreciated having someone who could support those complex feelings. Amy provided us with prenatal support, including two very informative in person meetings that helped us with birth planning, learning how to diaper, and labour preparation. She was also always available by text for any questions.

When I went into labour early, Amy came over to our house to provide assistance and comfort. She offered techniques to help move labour along, which worked very well! Amy was helpful in letting us know when to head to the hospital, and drove ahead of us on the way. Although covid restrictions kept her out of the hospital room at first, Amy joined us when she could and provided invaluable support throughout the unmedicated labour and delivery. She came home with us to help get us settled with the new baby, and returned for multiple post natal visits to help with breastfeeding and bathing. Again, she was always available by text for any questions.

The pregnancy, labour and delivery, and post natal period were so much more manageable thanks to Amy’s individualized support. If we get pregnant again, I would absolutely hire Amy again!

I had Seanna as my doula through my pregnancy and postpartum period. She was warm and kind and very knowledgeable about all the challenges I had. She was able to give me options and suggestions for how to go through labor and when it turned out I was having a c-section she was able to talk me through the anxiety I had. During my postpartum if I had any issues or questions she was a text or call away no matter the time and provided me with all the support and reassurance that I needed. Having Seanna as my doula was the best decision I made for my pregnancy and postpartum journey!
