Katie - Postpartum Doula & Baby-Led Sleep Specialist
-
Hi, I'm Katie!
I believe every family deserves to feel supported, encouraged, and confident as they settle into life with a new baby. The early days of parenthood can be filled with both incredible joy and unexpected challenges, and my goal is to help you feel cared for, reassured, and never alone as you find your own rhythm.
I love creating calm, nurturing spaces where parents can rest, ask questions, build confidence, and trust their instincts. Every family is unique, and I believe there is no one right way to care for your baby. Together, we'll find the approach that feels right for you, always with compassion, encouragement, and evidence-informed support.
I have a special passion for helping families better understand infant sleep in a way that honours your baby's development and your family's needs. I also enjoy supporting parents with car seat safety, helping them feel confident that one more piece of parenthood is taken care of.
It is a privilege to walk alongside families during such a meaningful season of life, offering practical support, a listening ear, and a reassuring presence as you grow into your new chapter.
Lauren - Full Spectrum Doula & Student Midwife
-
Lauren is a full-spectrum doula who supports individuals and families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and loss. Her care is rooted in compassion, kindness, and a deep belief that everyone deserves to feel safe, informed, and supported during life’s most significant transitions.
Lauren is passionate about informed decision-making and advocacy, ensuring her clients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their care. She blends evidence-based education with heart-centred support, offering a calm and grounding presence that helps families navigate both the practical and emotional aspects of their journey.
Hands-on support is central to Lauren’s work. She has a deep appreciation for comfort measures and physical care during labour, offering techniques such as counterpressure, massage, positioning, and guided rest to help bring both relief and confidence in the moment. She values being present as families move through intensity, strength, and release, and considers this one of the most meaningful parts of her role.
Alongside her doula work, Lauren is currently attending university to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a midwife. This path continues to deepen her understanding of physiological birth, continuity of care, and advocacy, and directly informs the thoughtful, evidence-based support she offers families.
In addition to birth support, Lauren offers birth preparation, partner education, postpartum care, and overnight support. Her approach is trauma-informed and responsive, meeting each family where they are with care that is flexible and attentive.
Lauren is honoured to walk alongside families with presence, skill, and compassion as part of The Collaborative Doula Collective, offering care that is grounded, respectful, and deeply human.
