WTF Prenatal Class

Why W T F Prenatal?

Be empowered. Be informed. Birth your way.

WTF Prenatal is a real, raw, and interactive 3-hour birth-preparation class designed to support you in making choices that feel right for you — whether you’re birthing at home, in hospital, with a midwife, a doctor, or a doula. This class centres on choice, autonomy, and trust, giving you the tools, knowledge, and confidence to approach birth with clarity and calm.

Why Choose WTF Prenatal?

Because birth doesn’t have to follow a script — and there is no “one right way.” Whether you hope for an unmedicated home birth or want information on medical options, WTF Prenatal meets you where you are. We believe in your body, your choices, and your power to birth with confidence.

  • The ability to communicate your preferences with confidence and respect.

Some of the topics covered:

  • Mind-body connection: exploring hopes, fears, and beliefs around birth; reframing fear into curiosity and confidence.

  • Hormones & oxytocin: how biology, environment, language, and support influence the birth experience.

  • Informed choice & consent: understanding your rights, navigating care options, using the BRAINS decision framework.

  • Comfort measures & coping tools: positions, breathing, visualization, hydrotherapy, and environment setup.

  • Medical & non-medical pain relief: pros, cons, risks, and making decisions that align with your body and values.

  • Pushing & placenta delivery: instinctive vs coached pushing, positions, placenta management choices (physiological vs active), tending to birth after birth.

  • Birth setting options: home birth, hospital birth, water birth — the differences, freedoms, restrictions, and how to plan for flexibility.

  • The role of a doula: what doulas do (and don’t do), how they support you physically, emotionally, and informationally.
